Citizens to Preserve Dewey PAC is an independent, all-volunteer group of concerned Dewey Beach citizens, property, and business owners. We organized this Political Action Committee to better serve the people of Dewey Beach with candidates who represent the majority views of its voters.
State election laws prevent citizens groups such as the CPD from mentioning candidates names. That’s why we’ve reactivated the CPD-PAC in order to comply with state laws.
There is a considerable amount of information out now from those that support the DBE/HHA project. We ask you to give great consideration to what you read. There are those who will distort and manipulate this election as much as they can to serve special interests. The Citizens to Preserve Dewey PAC is proud to endorse candidates that it believes are committed to maintaining Dewey’s small-town atmosphere while encouraging responsible growth.
Our approach is very straightforward. We will support the candidates that we feel are in line with our position. We do not intend to engage in negative campaigning however if false accusations are made, we fully intend to defend the facts. We are committed to running a campaign based on the issues and the facts… we will let you decide the rest.
